Hi there:

I had recently uploaded an MP3 that's an interview in which I was the interviewee on The Jiggy Jaguar Show. I uploaded it via FTP, but I can't find it ANYWHERE in the archive.

THIS INTERVIEW IS INTED TO BE A PODCAST AND IS **NOT** A "test".

While the file is still there (look in the patspodcast folder), I can't seem to find it ANYWHERE.

I need the URL to this file for a valid RSS link so that podcatchers can download it.

Also, one more thing. A LOT of podcasters and video bloggers have found the Archive to be very useful for storing the actual podcast and/or video. My question to you is what is the average turnaround time from the time I upload something (be it audio or video) to availability to the public? This info. would also be helpful too. :)

I look forward to your response :)

Cheers for now :)

Uploads are always approved within 24 hours (to the Open-Source Audio/Video sections, at least), unless something is wrong with them or traffic is particularly heavy.

Regarding why your interview isn't available - you haven't imported it yet! You need to go here:

http://www.archive.org/audio/audio-contribute.php

Additionally, you had illegal characters (spaces) in the MP3 name, but I've removed them.

Hi everyone:

Thanks for the info. Simon. I've bookmarked the page you gave for future reference as I'll no doubt have other podcasts and vlogs (that's a blog with video BTW) which I'll be uploading too. :)

Cheers for now everyone :)

P.S.: I think I'll also just simply use my FTP client and use the import page to create the RSS feed. That would also help. :)
